Is it because the upcoming Civic Type R will have a carbon-fiber roof? We don’t know, but the probability is there. What makes it more interesting is that although most of its exterior is visible, the yellow prototype’s lower halves of the front and rear and the roof are covered with camouflage. There is also the fact that the prototype has a deeper spoiler lip on its front while testing and a smaller rear spoiler. According to the spy shots and video, the white variant was seen to undergo the test both with and without a big rear wing. One prototype is yellow while the other one is white. Yes, there are two prototypes instead of one. The prototypes of the upcoming Civic Type R have been spotted recently in the Nurburgring.
